Brave climate action for the majority requires us to be real about the risks we are facing, and the necessary steps to become SAFER.
Yet so many people feel stuck in an unchangeable system, which raises a big question: can climate action help revive political hope?
When will the concerned majority of Britons coalesce like they did to resist Nazi domination?
Too often, visions for social change fall into two unhelpful categories:
Ambitious, revolutionary ideas with no credible path forward or Practical, incremental steps that don’t inspire the imagination We are not laying out a plan for global decarbonisation here, much less the eradication of all poverty.
Rather, we’re outlining key actions and perspectives that can bring the majority that wants change to a new level of self-awareness and power.
Then, plans for ambitious solutions might stop feeling like utopian fantasies.
