I work with individuals, couples and groups/teams.

We’ll decide the format of our work together during our initial conversation:  how many sessions, and how often.  I’d love to support you in shaping, and then realising, a story of your life that you are proud to tell – encompassing the three dimensions of being, doing and becoming.

In 2018, I woke up fully to the entangled predicaments we are facing and was nudged to close down my business and devote myself full-time to making a contribution in this space. I do all my work ‘in the gift’.

I have been closely involved in the Climate Majority Project since launch, with a particular interest in shared inner work.  In 2018, I created HEART Community Group that works to educate, support and advocate for local community resilience and adaptation.

I offer regular 4-day retreats called “The Edge”, designed to help people who are awake to the metacrisis, and to support them in standing tall from a place of resilience, courage and clarity.  To answer the question:  What is mine to do?

I am the author of two best-selling books about the brain and learning, and another book about the spiritual nature of the human experience.

My latest book, published in June 2024, is called “What is Mine to Do – and Who can I Do it With?

I’ve been a coach since about 2006, specialising in people working in not-for-profit organisations such as health, charities, higher education and government. I also coach people working within the polycrisis movement, including those taking direct action, academics, and other coaches.

I’m a strong supporter of the CMP, and as a member of the coaching profession I am focussing on how the industry can be disrupted to adapt appropriately to the unfolding crisis – for example, leadership or business coaching is too often focussed on helping business as usual carry on a little faster.

As a coach, I invite a focus on your purpose and fulfilment; and often those I work with will bring concerns about how they’re managing amidst everything, how they choose what actions and areas to focus on, and/or strengthening inner capacities for example self-care, or saying No to too many things.

I find the Inner Development Goals can sometimes be a useful framework for this work https://innerdevelopmentgoals.org/

In my own community in York (UK), I co-founded a local climate action group back in 2011 called Planet South Bank; we run a number of projects, including publishing in 2025 a community ‘thrutopia’ creative writing project called ‘How We Made It Through’.

Wendy Robinson Full Bio

I’ve been coaching for around 25 years.  The people I have coached have been at all levels of seniority across all sectors; mainly in the UK and Ireland but also across other continents.

A few years ago I made the move from city life to rural life.  I now live in the depths of rural Ireland, by the sea and mountains.  I have learnt a lot from Nature, I feel blessed to live here, to have healed here, and to have the energy of this place as I work with people online.

I am a Psychologist by trade – always working within organisations, with teams and leaders.  I spent several years also training and working as a Psychotherapist.  I joined the Climate Coaching Alliance several years ago and deeply appreciate their work and support.  I have also recently trained as a Nature Coach, Yoga Teacher and Mindfulness Teacher.

I have had several experiences in recent years, of ‘the scales falling from my eyes’ – as I realise the paradigm or worldview in which I was socialised and educated.  And how I no longer buy into it.  One such example was when I realised that Western Psychology – especially Work Psychology – rests on foundations of ‘more’, ‘better’, ‘faster’ – productivity,  mechanistic thinking and continual growth.  I am finding my way into – for example – Radical Rest.

Of course, a paradigm shift is not done and dusted in one decision.  I take it as a daily practice, to keep reminding myself.  And I bring all of my New Paradigm learnings into coaching sessions with those I am privileged to coach, along with deep listening, knowledge of how to bring about change, mindfulness, empathy and some humour, where that helps!  (It often does….).

I support purpose-driven leaders like you to make the biggest impact you want while also taking care of your inner resilience and wellbeing. Clients say I provide a safe and energising space for personal growth, and that I’m empathetic, kind and positive, as well as astute with the questions I ask.

I’ve been coaching since 2018, after a career in international journalism and as an author and speaker. I am a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. I’ve co-authored three books on inclusion, gender-balanced leadership and the changing world of work, and a report on eco-anxiety and the role of employers.

I decided to apply my coaching skills to the polycrisis when I first heard about ‘climate coaching’ at a conference in 2020. I completed the Climate Change Coaches training, and I’ve trained as a facilitator in Active Hope, running workshops on resilient leadership for people and planet. I’m an active volunteer with the Climate Coaching Alliance, and I’ve mentored climate entrepreneurs through Climate Bridges.

I generally coach 1-1 online, or by phone outdoors in the natural world. I’m open to in-person coaching when logistically possible. I have regular coaching supervision and I hold professional indemnity insurance.
